Will Dexter: New Blood have a second season?
Showtime aired ten 58-43-minute episodes of Dexter New Blood Season 1, debuting on November 7, 2021, and ending on January 9, 2022. Here is everything we know about Part 2 so far.
So far, both Showtime officials and the producers of Dexter New Blood have confirmed the production of a second season. When asked by Deadline if he was interested in continuing his story, Phillips said yes. “I’m sure the numbers will continue to grow after the final,” he said.. In the end, Showtime had to decide if they wanted more. When asked if I would be interested in a sequel, I would definitely answer. “I have a lot on my mind, but I’ll say yes to that for a moment.”
Phillips previously hinted that more Dexters would be available in an interview with THR’s Top 5 TV Podcasts. The possibility of a second season was raised and he replied: “Let me say this: never say never. I can say yes or no. I’m trying to convey that nothing is impossible. I wouldn’t say this is the end of the franchise because anything can happen. I think that’s a very insightful answer.”
The show’s producer, Scott Reynolds, who was working on the original and Renaissance, announced on Twitter on January 10, 2022, that an exciting announcement about the show would be made this morning. Dexter: New Blood Season 2 is expected to premiere in Q4 2022 if the announcement is true.

The characters Hall, Carpenter, Brown, Miller, Chung, and Lithgow are all dead and may only appear behind in the next season 2 of The Walking Dead. Harrison’s conscience can take the form of his father, as Dexter did when he took the form of Harry and Deb .The rest of the cast is expected to return. Additionally, as the world of the show continues to evolve, new cast members may be introduced.
Dexter: New Blood Season 2 Synopsis: What is it about?
Dexter was captured in the Season 1 finale titled Sins of the Father, which aired on Fox. Angela discovers that Kurt killed Iris, Molly, and all the other women who wrote on his wall. After Dexter kills Logan to reach his son, Dexter confronts Harrison, who accuses him of violating his own code of ethics by killing Logan. Harrison kills Dexter, but Angela releases him after telling him he must not return.
Harrison could head to Los Angeles in the upcoming Season 2 as his father has expressed interest in moving there. Once the Dark Traveler made his move, it would be easy to keep him happy at his current location. Audrey might choose to keep him company at some point, and Harrison’s half-brother might also appear at the end of the season.
